On your wedding day, everything is thoughtfully planned to ensure the morning feels relaxed, organised, and completely stress-free.
I work closely alongside your hairstylist and photographer to create a clear, well-paced schedule that allows everyone to work harmoniously. Makeup timings are carefully mapped out in advance so your entire bridal party is ready smoothly and without rushing.
My goal is for all makeup to be completed at least one hour before your ceremony.
This intentional buffer gives you the space to truly enjoy your morning. It means you will enjoy a clam, structured getting ready schedule with no clock-watching or last-minute stress or rushing before you leave for your ceremony.
A collaboration will be made with your hairstylist and photographer…
To ensure there is plenty of time for relaxed portraits and first-looks. By finishing early, you’re able to fully soak in the moment, sharing laughs and a glass of fizz with your bridal party. You will have time to capture beautiful photographs, and begin your day feeling grounded, present, and beautifully prepared.

I am so pleased I chose Kay as the makeup artist for my wedding for myself (the bride), my teenage bridesmaid and the mother of the bride. From start to finish Kay made us feel so relaxed and filled us with so much confidence. Kay was brilliant working with us to find makeup styles that suited each member of the bridal party, especially as we were looking for a very natural look. She made me feel so special on the day and we felt like the best versions of ourselves. Kay has a brilliant website and social media presence; I really do think that the photos of her client’s makeup transformations speak for themself. Every photo shows how Kay carefully highlights each woman’s natural beauty and makes them feel so beautiful and fills them with so confidence, she is a true artist. I also loved that Kay is passionate about using ethically sourced and cruelty-free makeup, and is constantly looking out for and trying new products. Her support during the covid pandemic was brilliant, she accommodated our date change when we had to postpone and helped us to find a new hairstylist when, unfortunately, our previous stylist was unavailable. Kay is very approachable and has always been on hand to answer queries and provide support not just linked to our wedding makeup but for all aspects of the wedding. Kay worked with our hairstylist to produce a wedding day timetable and everything ran like clockwork thanks to her guidance. She has such a calming presence and is just what you need on your wedding day. I would 100% per cent recommend Kay to any brides looking for a makeup artist. She is professional, knowledgeable, kind and compassionate.
Kay-Louise did my wedding makeup. As someone who often goes without makeup, I was a little apprehensive over this part of the wedding prep. Kay-Louise understood exactly what I wanted and was easy to talk to and trust. I felt like a polished version of myself rather than a whole different person! On our wedding day, when my groom lifted my veil, his first words were “that’s my Lisa”. He’d been fearful I’d have been altered into looking unrecognisable but in Kay’s hands, there was no risk of that! She is also exceptionally thoughtful and the extra touches on the wedding day were very kind.
I could not think of anyone better than Kay for Wedding makeup services. She was the first choice all along and I’m so glad! From start to finish she makes you feel so relaxed and at ease. It was a collaborative process with Kay as she listens to your needs and wants and makes the dream a reality. I felt like the most beautiful bride on my big day, and it was all down to her. Alongside her amazing skill at makeup, she was the main person on the morning of my wedding to help keep me calm. I couldn’t have gotten through the morning without her because of this. Kay not only did my make up that morning but four others of the bridal party. They all looked stunning and were so thankful. Thank you so so much, Kay!!
So I’ll start with the fact that Kay is absolutely wonderful, and I’d definitely recommend to any West Midlands based brides! I was originally nervous when I started wedding planning because I’m a fairly shy person, but that went away when I met Kay! I actually discovered her because she is very adamant, she only uses cruelty-free makeup (makeup that hasn’t been tested on animals) and that is very important to me and aligns with my values; didn’t actually expect to get that with a makeup artist so I was honestly so excited when I booked! Kay herself is so lovely, really makes you feel at ease in her presence. She describes me as her “most laidback bride” (very proud title!) and I honestly think she helped towards that! There was a tiny mishap just as I was getting ready to go and she was there fixing my makeup! Unfortunately, once I had started I was going to stop until the next day but she did her all for me at that point. What was also amazing was how understanding and sympathetic she was towards me being so destroyed we had to postpone in 2020. She was actually the first supplier I spoke to (after the venue of course) because she’s always there to talk to if I needed anything and did help to make me feel better. So overall she’s so lovely, made everyone at ease while getting ready and was just amazing overall. If I could do it all again (with my husband obviously!) I’d have Kay again in a heartbeat!
I first met Kay when I was a bridesmaid at one of my best friend’s weddings. Whilst she was doing my make-up, we had a good chat and she really put me at ease – I don’t normally wear any make-up, so having my make-up done by a stranger was a bit daunting. She took in everything I told her, gave me tips for a good skincare routine and made me feel wonderful about myself. My make-up felt perfect and lasted all day and night. When it came to booking someone for my own wedding, there was no question as to who would be doing my make-up… I had to have Kay. I booked her up immediately, paid my deposit and was happy knowing she’d be there for me on my big day. Cut to a few months later, the dreaded pandemic hits. Like a lot of other people, I had to postpone my big day. Kay was super flexible with my dates and allowed me to change them 3 times. On top of this, my husband and I decided last minute (4 weeks before) to revert to having our official ceremony on our original date and a big wedding later. I emailed Kay and she was immediately on board not only to do my make-up but to do my hair too! For my official ceremony, Kay gave me the perfect natural look with beautifully bouncy curls. I felt great and was so happy that I got to share my day with her. Then, for my big day, I had a beautiful Hollywood glam look, and my bridesmaid all had a natural glowing look. We all loved how we looked, and my girls were so pleased that I had booked her for them. If anyone is thinking of booking Kay, I would tell them to book her up instantly! She was an absolute dream and I have been so fortunate to have met her and had her at so many big days in my life.
Wow… Kay did my makeup for my wedding day and I looked and felt absolutely amazing! I felt like myself which is one of her top priorities to ensure you look natural and like you. She was so well organised and clean, one of my bridesmaids commented on how clean and well looked after all her products looked. We had lots of communications before the wedding via email and had a trial run of the makeup which was great to get to know Kay a bit before the big day as well. She is such a lovely lady to make you feel at ease, be a friend and ensures you are not stressed. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to get their makeup done.
Prior to booking Kay-Louise for my wedding makeup, I was very nervous as I normally wear no makeup and was worried I’d end up looking like a different person! As soon as I met with Kay, she was very welcoming and so kind. She took on all my concerns and used her professional opinion to make me look like the best version of me! I felt amazing once she finished my makeup, I couldn’t stop looking at my eyelashes 😂 I found her to be so clean and so professional, and she answered all of my queries even in the hours before the wedding day! She made last-minute changes to the plans to help suit me and the venue. All of my bridal party said she was so friendly and kind and worked with everyone to do the makeup they liked to an amazing standard everyone looked fantastic!!
